Reikon Games is an independent creative team, a development and production company creating high-end computer and video games. Our specialty are artistic action adventures set in haunting science-fiction realities, embracing the cybernetic dimension of life. Reikon has been established in Warsaw, Poland, since 2014. 

Responsibilities as Senior Technical Animator:

  • Unreal Engine 5 Animation System: Create and maintain animation graphs, state machines, and animation blending.  Implementation of  character animations and behaviors.

  • Blueprint and Scripting Support: Assist programmers in implementing animation-related gameplay mechanics. This involves working closely with designers and programmers to create custom blueprint nodes, scripts to support and enhance the animation systems and interactions in the game.

  • Collaborative Work with Unreal Engine Team: Collaborate with other team members, such as animators, riggers, designers, and programmers, to ensure smooth integration of animations into the game. Communicate technical requirements and constraints effectively and provide support to the team for any animation-related issues.

  • Unreal Engine Updates and Best Practices: As an Unreal Engine specialist, I stay up to date with the latest features, updates, and best practices within Unreal Engine’s animation system. Research and experiment with new techniques and tools to improve animation quality and efficiency.
