Sunwolf Entertainment is a team of young professionals that founded a company with the propose of unite art, technology, and business. Sunwolf’s vision is to give artists, programmers, and out-of-the-box thinkers a space where they can grow and improve their skills while working on significant projects. 

In this action-packed, epic sci-fi FPS you will take on the role of a sentient starship and its replicable machine-girl avatar on a mind-bending journey through space and time.

Responsibilities as Programmer and Technical Artist:

  • Unreal Engine 4 – Gameplay Programming: Responsible for implementing the core gameplay mechanics and systems in the game. This includes handling player input, character movement,  interactions, AI behavior, and game rules.

  • Scripting and Blueprinting: Unreal Engine provides a visual scripting system called Blueprints, which allows designers and programmers to create gameplay logic without writing code. As a programmer and Tech Artist, I work with designers to help them achieve their vision by creating custom Blueprint nodes.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Game development is a team effort, and effective communication and collaboration are essential. You would work closely with other programmers, artists, designers, and producers to understand requirements, provide technical solutions, and integrate various game components.

  • Performance Optimization: Unreal Engine provides a range of profiling and optimization tools, and it’s the programmer’s responsibility to identify and address performance bottlenecks. This includes optimizing code, reducing memory usage, improving rendering performance, and ensuring smooth frame rates.

  • Unreal Engine Updates and Best Practices: As an Unreal Engine specialist, I stay up to date with the latest features, updates, and best practices within Unreal Engine’s animation system. Research and experiment with new techniques and tools to improve animation quality and efficiency.
